Hardware Features
ARM Cortex-M4F Microcontroller
Screvle uses an STM32F427 running at up to 180MHz.
Flash: 1024KB
RAM: 256KB
QVGA (240x320) Touchscreen
The LCD is connected via a 16-bit parallel bus for high speed updates.
The backlight can be dimmed.
10/100 Ethernet
Ready to use 10/100 Ethernet via RJ45 connector. The Ethernet circuit uses the on-board Ethernet MAC of the CPU for optimal performance.
Two LEDs show the status of the Ethernet link.
micro-SD Card Slot
Expand the persistent storage of Screvle by adding a micro-SD card.
USB on-the-go
Micro-USB connector connected to the USB-OTG Full-Speed core of the CPU turns Screvle into a USB Device or USB OTG Peripheral.
The expansion header allows access to a second USB-OTG core of the CPU for USB Device, USB Host or USB OTG functionality.
Flexible Expansion Header
Customize Screvle hardware by adding an expansion board. All embedded interfaces are available via the expansion header (GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, ADC, DAC, PWM,…) as well as power inputs and outputs.
Li-Ion Battery Charger
Screvle features an integrated Li-Ion Battery Charger allowing mobile operation. The battery can be charged through the micro-USB connector or via the expansion header using external power.
5-Way Navigation Button
Equipped with a 5-way navigation button (up, down, left, right, center switches) for easy navigation through user interfaces.
RGB LED
RGB LED connected to PWM enabled pins allows you to create almost any color.
Buzzer
Sound an alarm using the buzzer.
Real-Time Clock with battery backup
Screvle has a real-time clock operated by a separate crystal and a coin-cell holder for keeping track of time when Screvle is not powered.
10-pin JTAG Header
Connect your JTAG through the standard 10-pin JTAG header.
The expansion header consists of three 12×1 pin headers. Pins are spaced 2.54mm apart (100mil).
The three headers are positioned in a U-shaped area of 38.10mm (1500 mil) by 33.02mm (1300 mil)
